Biography

Born into a family of artists and architects, Natalia Avdeeva was destined to become a painter. Starting at the age of three, her apprenticeship and journey of discovery led to her present style - dramatic realism.

As a child growing up in the beautiful mountainous region of Altai, Natalia benefited from the majestic and inspirational landscapes of her native land.

Excelling in art school, she dedicated herself to the pursuit of excellence, beginning to sell drawings and paintings at the age of eighteen. After graduating from art school, Natalia visited the United States, where she taught Art. For the last year she has been doing a Diploma course in Portraiture painting at the famous Heatherley Art School in London, to general acclaim from tutors and patrons.

Competent in a wide range of subjects and drawing in her own involved and characteristic style, she has concentrated mainly on the human form and portraiture. She is keen to accept commissions and her classical but dramatic studies are much appreciated by collectors.

Natalia's guiding motto throughout has been 'you have to fight for the talent you have been given'.

Natalia has set high standards for herself and achieved remarkable results.
